      If its sold here then it doesnt wormwood in it. That is illegal to sell here. You have to get the real stuff shipped to you.

        untrue absinthe was legalized mid 2000s and you can get it shipped to you..btw its green everclear but still fun

          Whatever they sell now doesnt have wormwood in it. Which is what makes absinthe great. Like snidely said its a sad sad imitation of the green fairy.

              Did you buy it in america? If so tell poor zak13 where you did. I find it hard to believe you bought it in the u.s. because as far as I know the law which prohibits the commercial sale and distillation of anything with wormwood which contain thujone (what makes you hallucinate) is still going on. Even in the countries in which it isnt illegal they limit the amount of wormwood put in the drink. It is however perfectly legal to have a bottle shipped to you....i could be wrong though.

                Dude, you can buy it everywhere now. The ban was lifted. Lucid is a solid taste (WITH wormwood) and no artificial coloring. Go to BevMo or Whole Foods, etc for it. Beverley Hilton also serves it. :)

                  As an added note, "original recipe" Absinthes are now legal because they contain less than 10ppm of thujone. This is proper recipe and not a reduced amount, but also not a raised amount.

    Even the stuff ya get online/overseas is not the same "green fairie" that used to give ya hallucinations. It is a backwards engineered replica. (and I believe it too is sans wormwood)

      Yeah, sorry you got your hopes up. Im relatively positive you can get the stuff with wormwood shipped to you. I mean, you can get fucking stem cells shipped to you absinthe shouldnt be any more difficult....plus I have friends who get it.
