  • As a product of this State (and almost ironically one of the oldest states, an original colony at that), I must apologize for the ignorance contained within this series of texts, apparently due to the breakdown of historical knowledge over time. Yes, horses can sit down, they just don't because it isn't a comfortable position for them unless they are hurt or exhausted.

  • They can. However their weight in the sitting position is too much on their organs so it feels uncomfortable to do so unless they're really sick or tired.
