so far, I've observed him try to hit on 3 girls, 1 guy and a bar stool. Humanity is amazing from a sober point of view.

All of that sounds fine..... Wait! What? He hit on a dude? That's just unnatural!
If he struck out on the barstool the guy should just quit trying and become a celibate hermit.
