I'm fully aware it is a book, but the play on words switching "Margaret" and "God" was used in the title of a song years ago, which brings me back to my point that this text is just plain weak.

The title of the book was, "Are you there God, it's me Margaret?" Judy Blume is still putting out books.

Meh. "Are you there Margaret? It's me God." Is the name of a song by pop-punk band The Lawrence Arms from their album Oh Calcutta! So its not really funny or witty.

No less believable than having a burning bush talk to you.

Great book published in the early 70's, I think.

To the person who said it was a song...maybe so, but it was a great Judy Blume book first.

This is where you should step back, look at yourself in the mirror, and admit you have a problem.
