  • I'm going to call bs... never heard of a blood test being done that fast

Submitted by bitethebulleit on Oct 1, 10 at 1:47pm
    • I've had tests done that fast (pgcy tests for hCg), but they don't just randomly test for alcohol.

    • If you're in the ER they make you wait for your test results, and they are done that fast.

    • Even in the (less than) hour that it takes for a blood test, you're still drunk.

Submitted by tsfm on Oct 2, 10 at 2:51am
  • Sure, but why would they be testing for BAC if the OP was sick? They don't typically just run extra tests, b/c those cost extra money.

  • A CBC can be done in the doctors office with a blood sample and yield immediate results; however, most CBCs do not test BAC...

  • " I can't stop throwing up, what's wrong with me?" " your drunk dumbass" yea that would be an epic fail, funny tho.

  • What kind of doctor immediately walks back in with results??

    Submitted by bslaw83 on Oct 1, 10 at 1:48pm
    • No where does it say they walked right back in. Learn to read.

Submitted by tsfm on Oct 2, 10 at 2:52am
  • it could have been a simple test, like WBC.

Submitted by kendykane on Oct 1, 10 at 2:04pm
    • Those show nothing having to do with drunkenness. It was either a blood alcohol level, or a GGT, which shows liver damage due to alcohol.

  • I don't know much about it, but they may not have needed to test specifically for it in order to tell the person was drunk, it could be that the blood shows some kind of noticeable abnormality that suggests it while they are testing for something else

  • It's called a GGT...it shows recent alcohol intake. Believe it, it's real.

  • Keeping it classy in la Valle.

  • A GGT does not show BAC that is a specific test and it CANNOT be run in a doctors office. It also takes several hours. A CBC only shows cell counts.
