Completely agree with the fact that a guy would never reply a lame SMS to someone he's not interested in... (I might not even respond even if i AM interested!)
805 is probably female. The use of the ellipses ( it's "..." in case you didn't know) definitely makes me think it's a woman. Not that guys don't use it, but for some reason women seem to use more punctuation to add emotion to their texts than men do.

I thought it was a girl because the person said Babe.... and because the person actually responded. A guy would ignore the text, delete it, and avoid the chick who sent it.
haha it was definitely a guy who sent it ... the use of the ellipses isnt relegated to only one sex. However, if it said :p or :) or <3 or [insert cheesy overused emoticon], then yes, it was a woman. But the smart ass nature of the ellipses is the only emotional punctuation a guy can use ... without having to bend over later.
yahh this is a guy. might even be my now ex boyfriend saying it to the girl he was probably cheating on me with. we hadnt talked in a week and alll i said was hey how are you and apparently i smothered him. so i dumped him and now hes crawling back to me texting me how much he misses me and loves me. we dated for a month. he says he loves me and i say hey but IMMM the one smothering him. boys are such babies.
