GDI isn't a "proper" term. And I'm sure every campus calls their councils something different, but Divine 9 is NPHC here and NPC is the white chicks. (Because 90% of them do seem to be rich white girls...)
Recruitment is different at every school, too. I'm sure some schools do COB and advertise it if their national by-laws don't have a rule against it. And if your Greek life is small enough, I'm sure posters don't violate any rules about dirty rushing.
News flash: You won't get into a Greek house (worth being in) without a personality. So to those assuming that's the only way that person would get friends, you're silly.

I'm a DZ and that's actually really funny. It all does depend on the school though. Here it's DG's that are like that. And whoever made the GDI comment is amazing. We use it all the time in Nor Cal since there are so many GDIs trying to get into greek parties.

DZ's are the best no matter what you think, but all-in-all, each sorority/fraternity is represented different at each university. Call us EZ DZ's, but if you're ANY sorority or fraternity, face it..you have a name for you as well.

i can't even read all the posts because there are wayyyyy to many! but i'm in a sorority, not in this one, but honestly who cares. even if the rumor applied- it's sad that this many people care enough or strongly enough to post.
Yay, DZ love! People can be mean about other sororities and stuff, but I know that I'm happy where I am and absolutely LOVE being a DZ!
I am confused as to why there are posters for recruitment? That's kind of weird to me.
The DZ's at my school are a bunch of stupid bitches. So when they come over to my house I like to play the "Who can make a DZ cry faster" game. Turns out it doesn't take much. A slap on the ass, a board to the face or just calling them fat or stupid usually does it.
Moral of the story-- never put anything un-panhellenic up on TFLN. Unless of course you want to cause some serious drama. :)
And anyway greeks are not dumb. At least at my school we have to keep up certain GPAs to stay on campus. And as a bonus, we have a lot more fun than GDIs :)
Btw, I'm not a Delta Zeta, but nonetheless I don't think it's right to stereotype them or any sorority/fraternity. Particularly national organizations, as every chapter is different.

anyone who has pledged a sorority has vowed to hold herself to higher standards. I know at my school greek life has higher GPA's are involved more in philanthropy and still are able to have fun!

I'm greek, but all my sisters n I ever did was drink!! I have friends that are DZ's and for some of them it's true, but others it's not....I think the poster is hilarious tho!!

1) GDI is the proper term for someone who is not Greek and hates on Greek life but has no problem trying to attend their social events to seem cool
2) NPC stands for National Pan-Hellenic Council. All of sororities listed on this page are in the Panhellic Council. Learn something about the Greek system before making a judgment.
3) If this is a big school, they shouldn't even have posters up promoting individual sororities; that's not how recruitment works. This text isn't even real.
