  • studies show DARE actually increases kids interest in doing drugs...don't worry the most straightedge kids in elementary school always end up the biggest drug users in high school

    • I think that's because they come to the realization that drugs, if taken in moderation aren't bad for your health and can help you cope with life.. although that's never the best route, it's definitely the easiest.

  • Well, the kid has a point... Prostitution for drug money is what they're trying to avoid.

  • When DARE came to my school they basically showed kids where to get drugs.

  • It's drug abuse resistance education taught in middle schools. Everyone in it tried weed at least once .

  • I never did DARE and I never even tried weed, but my friends who were all in it are pretty much all drug addicts

  • What's D.A.R.E? Is it an American thing?

Submitted by Anonymous on Apr 27, 10 at 2:08am
    • yes, it's Drug Abuse Resistance Education. Started in the 80s, happened after my time in school was over, I'm an old f*rt so I really don't have a good clue about the content. Studies have shown that it's counterproductive and that kids who take the DARE program in school are *more*, not less, likely to take drugs.
