The only math I use in every day life is figuring out how much I can spend on alcohol and still have money to pay my bills. High school lied to us.

Speak for yourself. I isealgebra almost daily, trig a few times a month and calculus for the first time since last summer yesterday.
In high school they were operating under the assumption that one day you'd have a job where you don't wear a name tag.
