Rob Pattinson is ugly, Kristen Stewart is dull, Twilight books were okay (only kept readng for Jacob). The movie was SO disappointing.
Now, if Twilight wins any SERIOUS film awards, Its time to worry!
Twilight rocked. Maybe it was a B-grade movie, but it actually used dialogue and alot of the stunts from the book. casting choices may have SUCKED. but the movie was great.

Keep in mind, this is the MTV awards. MTV. Of course tweens don't realize that The Dark Knight is fucking miles ahead of Twilight in every single aspect you could ever think of. So I don't find it too surprising that Twilight beat out The Dark Knight.

The books were awesome but the movie was ridicuously bad. It didn't deserve ANY awards in the movie they didn't even speak..just stared at eachother. Dark night was awesome and needed to win some of the awards that twilight did, otherwise I can care less.

robert pattinson is disgusting. he took his shirt off in new moon and the whole theater groaned. only watched it for taylor lautner's abs... only redeeming feature.
Okay, I have to agree. Twilight could have been better. If they had a bigger budget for the movie it could have been. However, I gotta say that the film followed the books really well. Therefore actually had some merit.

Bella can get pregnant becuase mens bodies stay the same till death. So it makes sense.

I think he's a wonderful actor. If anything is responsible for the disappointment suffered in the Twilight film, it's the directing.
I really think he should pursue a music career, though. It really sucks when you can't buy a CD from your favourite singer.

It's a passably interesting idea maybe, but the execution was TERRIBLE. Twilight is essentially one big fanfiction that's somehow gotten published.

They shouldn't have won HALF the awards they did last night, but all the legitimate voters stopped watching when Bruno teabagged Eminem. Best kiss went to I Love You, Man, for SURE. Best fight should have been Pineapple Express hands down. And Best female performance should have either been that girl from Slumdog or... any of the other GOOD female actors that were nominated.

I love Rob Pattinson and I secretly enjoyed the twilight books, but the movie SUCKED, both the plot line and the acting, and did not deserve any awards.
He is a pretty talented singer, in my opinion. However, Twilight is OVERRATED. Meyer can't develop plot or characters. Poor, poor writing.
And to everyone worked up by the MTV movie awards, it is subjective, and everyone who voted are people who are obbsessed with Twilight, are 13, and don't understand what love in reality is like. Or have immature reading skills and can't understand anything further than Meyer's shoddy writing.
Robert Pattinson is a great actor, it just doesn't really show in Twilight because he doesn't really need to say much. Watch his film How To Be and you'll understand how good he is. and btw, I agree that Twilight shouldn't have won best film. The movie did kinda suck. But still, reading through these posts, almost everyone has different opinions on who should have won what, so that just shows how opinions differ.

I think Robert Pattinson is awesome, and probably could've delivered a better acting performance if given a better script (the movie didn't do the book justice). Same goes for Kristen Stewart (she's amazing in Into the Wild). That being said, I don't believe it deserved the Best Movie award. Additionally, Pattinson looked effing schwasted, and Kristen Stewart may or may not have tourettes. Who cares, though? MTV awards are stupid, I wouldn't have watched it if Andy Samberg wasn't so effing hilarious.
Obviously the movie won the awards for a reason.
It got the most awards out of all movies at the festival, so that truly is saying something.
It was a good movie.
