Military doesn't mean stupid a lot if the MOS's require intelligence. Medic for example requires a general technical score of one hundred and ten. and still has about half forced to drop for academic reasons. The military is not for morons. And these are things you wouldn't tell a soldier in person.
I don't think he was implying military is stupid, the sentence structure and grammar was what made him look stupid. There are plenty of jobs that require high scores, Intelligence for one, however there are a lot of dumb people in every job category in every branch too. Lets just be proud we served and made it back from over there. The dumb ones and the smart ones, heroes all the same.
