  • How bout doing what everyone else your age is and just pay an older kid to buy you the alc until you're 21

    • How about you get a fucking friend so you don't have to buy people off? Christ, Lone Ranger.

    • Going into a bar/club/disco is a completely different concept.

  • Don't worry, when you turn 21(or turn 18 and move to a country that isn't crazy), it won't matter any more.

  • Referring to Europe, I've been there, few countries actually. Some places do ID but a lot of places don't. Now some countries are starting to crack down due to various reasons. France being one of these

    • Go to Italy.

      • Italy: Where the buying age is 16, the drinking age is 18, and no one gives a flying crap anyways.

    • It's because of the Evil Gnome(french president). I was lucky they started enforcing the law the year I turned 18, but before that, it was really easy to buy alcohol.\nluckily we can still drink it in public :)

  • Mexico's is 18, obviously not enforced

    • nice combining a series of countries, many of which have different drinking ages, but almost all have some kind of drinking age into one big place where there is no drinking age, your worldliness astounds me

      Submitted by tkelly647 on Jun 8, 10 at 5:52pm
      • YOUR worldliness astounds ME. You can know all the facts you want, but you have to actually experience something to understand. Drinking ages are about the same in most of Europe, but most of all, they all have the same policy. If you can see over the counter, you can drink. So... hey. Let's stop being a cunt, shall we?

        • Well, Britain's in Europe, and if you'd ever been to London you'd see the filthy pikeys asking 18 year olds to buy them booze because pretty much all bars/clubs/pubs will ID them. You're being just as bad as tkelly with your generalisation.

          • What about supermarkets? I don't know if this is a Scotland thing or what, but my friends can get sold and they're 14. Works better if you're female, yeah, but still.

          • Having a fake ID is legal in Great Britain. As long as you have it "for novelty use only" and don't use it to lie about your age.

        • Only place in Europe I got carded a single time was in Ireland, and considering I in Ireland 2 months and Europe for almost a year and drank like a fish I've gotta agree with Nix. Europe is out of fucks to give about underage drinking.

      • I started buying my own alcohol when I was thirteen in France. :)\nNow I live in Italy and the only people that get completely trashed are kids aged 12-17. (which is better... less drunk-drivers)\nThe further North you go, the more they'll check that you're eighteen (or sixteen), the closer you are to the mediterranean see, the less they care

Submitted by Mazanco on Jun 9, 10 at 9:55pm
  • Brazil.. You should be 18, but being 12 is just fine haha
