Yeah... That's happened. Especially if the benefits are good
Try ending up engaged after that talk. The closing line was, "We get along and the sex is good. That is what married couples have when the bullshit romance runs out."
I bet that happens more than you think...probably when the reason for the intended breakup was that you wanted something more.
