we did the same thing to my friend freshman year of college on halloween after she killed a bottle of jose cuervo. when we asked her how she was taking all these "shots", all she said was how good she was at taking shots.. if she only knew then what she knows now! hahahaha
My friend did that to me a few times. I kept on telling the bartender and anyone around me what a "champ" I was while throwing back water....so embarrassing.
One night my friend was so drunk she refused to drink water and kept yelling that we were trying to get her drunk... then resumed sipping on her alcohol, saying she needed to sober up. It was great.
I swapped my drunken friend's vodka shots for water ones once. She noticed the difference, so I went "Okay fine have the vodka ones" and gave her back the water shots. Suddenly she didn't notice any difference. Hmm..
I did that for my friend once. I kept refilling his beer with water. Guy was so drunk he believed me when I told him it just tasted like water because it was light.
my friend is in denial about the night we were 'mixing him drinks', aka handing him cups of juice, and he kept telling us what awesome bartenders we'd make.
