    No you need the light to see where you are going after you are finished and you don't have to have the internet when you have 3G for most apps. Geez. I thought it was funny...

    You CAN download an app without wifi if it's under a certain size, and flashlight apps are not very large....and I definitely need light while on the pot...you're so helpless and vulnerable there, you need to be aware of your surroundings.
