I am Canadian, and I have no accent. But the Canadian accent (yes I know the one that you are thinking of, and actually, it's mostly people from Newfoundland and Labrador that have it), is no where near as annoying and stupid sounding as the accent from the southern States. They all sound like they dropped out of school in grade 3.
