  • NO. Urine contains ammonia, which will irritate the stinger cells and release MORE VENOM. If it's a Man-o-war, keep pouring seawater onto it. If it's a true jelly (Australians take note), use vinegar. If you're unsure which to use, USE SEAWATER because vinegar makes Man-o-war stings bleed.
