• We travelled this week, 1 bag was flagged because of a large tube of toothpaste, then a flesh jack they had to take out and look at. They totally missed a knife that I forgot was in a pair of jeans.

• a negligible amount of marijuana is not going to explode or injure anyone... that's not what they're looking for. I always fly with a couple joints in my checked baggage and its never been an issue.

• I actually know a few different people who regularly take weed with them on trips and have never had an issue. Personally I would never risk it, but I don't think it's that rare.
