Wow people. Just because she says it's gonna be long and is sad doesn't make her a bad parent. If she were actually doing it, then it'd be a problem.
It is a long time. But you'll have so much fun your first night of drinking again later on.
Sounds like you are not ready to have kids, they have something called birth control for that!
