    Please advise me how an electrical fire smells much different than any other fire?

      Hot copper, burning rubber (wire insulation). Generally hot metal and ozone. It is a noticeable difference from say... Paper.. Wood.. grease. Plastic can be similar.

      an electrical fire smells like smoke, burnt plastic, rubber, metallicy aroma. Smells much different than wood or paper. Imo it smells much worse than any other fire...

        Didn't think about it. I remember things by smell and couldn't conjure up that smell. Wonder how OP managed.
