I live in the 540 area and I'll agree some people here over use Larry the Cable Guy sayings way to much, my old school district tried to pass building a new high school with the town by using the slogan, CC new high school Get r' Done... part of me died that day.
You know, it's sad, because not everyone in the south is like this at all.
It's just like any other place in the world, everyone focuses in on the negative.
As a 540 girl myself, I have seen lots of signs like that but never that one.
Also, I have to say that the minute I finished college I high-tailed it out of there. My family now refers to me as "the yankee."
Oh Shenandoah Valley, how I love the hicks that fill the 540.

i live in the 540. Last year, a church near my house had a sign up that said: "Wal-Mart: It's not the only saving place." Thank God for rural Virginia :-)
I love how people from the north talk about how much they hate the south...yet, they all go to school down here, and they love to pick up a fake southern accent to take home to their friends...truth is...the mason dixon line should be a fucking fence!
