  • No.. all the people who think its = it is need to go back to elementary school.

  • how do these texts get passed? NOT FUNNY.

Submitted by Anonymous on May 15, 09 at 3:56pm
  • it is just a superior cincinnatian rejecting a redneck kentuckian, that is all.

Submitted by Anonymous on May 21, 09 at 1:25am
  • I thought of it as someone telling another person it was their first time. As in, they still had their v-card. And the other person had them place it in quotes. Meaning, they're definitely lying.

Submitted by Anonymous on May 15, 09 at 5:19pm
  • ITS IS POSSESSIVE YOU IDIOT. IT'S IS THE CONTRACTION FOR "IT IS." WTF, dumb ass? Get a life...or a GED. Christ.

Submitted by Anonymous on May 15, 09 at 3:59pm
  • i'm pretty sure it's supposed to be funny because of the responder's priorities think about it

Submitted by Anonymous on Jul 2, 09 at 5:35pm
  • good grammar is sexy!! i love 513

Submitted by Anonymous on Jun 25, 09 at 10:52am
  • ^You have it backwards "it's" is the contraction and "its" is a possessive pronoun. So the correction is right.

Submitted by Anonymous on May 15, 09 at 3:58pm
  • is it funny that 1/2 of the people on this string don't realize that the second person is correcting the first person's grammar? Text or not, you all still need to learn your grammar rules. Go back to middle school.

Submitted by Anonymous on May 16, 09 at 3:48am
  • This is only funny because 859 is KY. But it's still mostly stupid.

Submitted by Anonymous on May 26, 09 at 2:01pm
  • yes, as the person above me stated, 859 covers most of kentucky. eastern ky is 606, western is 270, and the rest is pretty much 859. if you don't know what you're talking about, stfu.

Submitted by Anonymous on May 23, 09 at 4:55pm
  • The whole possessive vs contraction issue, not funny. However, some one thinking it's important to correct grammar in a text...funny. Who the fuck are you pretentious people who find it necessary to correct the grammar in a text message. Are you that desperate to feel superior in some insignificant way...

Submitted by Anonymous on May 16, 09 at 10:22pm
  • I think this post is being over analyzed. In my opinion the humor comes from the fact that the second person is actually trying to correct first person's grammar in a text. Who the fuck adheres to proper grammar in a text?! And who would be so condescending and pompous as to try to make such a correction in a case where the intended meaning is so clear?!

  • @ May 15, 2009 3:53PM How did you manage to be 100% wrong about something even my 11 year-old sister knows?

Submitted by Anonymous on Jun 6, 09 at 1:14am
  • I'm struggling to find the humor in this.

Submitted by Anonymous on Jul 5, 09 at 9:20pm
  • Its is possessive. As in the dog's, or its. It's is a contraction for 'it is'. Please don't be a dipshit. The second text was right in the correction. Either way, this was the least funny quote this site has ever posted,

  • 859 = lexington.....= dumb fucks

Submitted by Anonymous on May 15, 09 at 5:15pm
  • umm.... i'm pretty sure we didn't need 1892347293487 people explaining the difference between "it's" and "its" ....juuuust sayin. one would have been good, thanks.

Submitted by Anonymous on Sep 4, 09 at 6:32pm
  • to settle it once and for all for all you idiots out here... 859 was the new area code started in 2000 when the new census came out, it stands for UKY look it up on your phone, i promise you, it started in LEXINGTON and branched out. I live in LEXINGTON and have an 859 area code... stop bitching you fucking sewer rats in dayton and newport, just because you all have cell phone towers because cincinnati is right across the river does NOT AT ALL make you important

Submitted by Anonymous on Jun 21, 09 at 11:44pm
  • "its" is the possessive.. retards.

Submitted by Anonymous on May 18, 09 at 9:43am
  • Either way "IT IS" just a text. And, to me, anyone correcting MY text grammer is just an ass. Last but not least...This is a lame ass post.

Submitted by Anonymous on May 15, 09 at 4:02pm
  • It's = it is its = possessive. as in-- the dog broke its leg

  • hey fuck you 5:15 you dumb fucker, no this text is saying the bitch from lexington is saying oh yeah its my first time, and the dude from cincinnati is clearly saying yeah right "its my first time" as in the dumb whore is lying trying to make it seem like she's not really a whore

Submitted by Anonymous on Jun 21, 09 at 11:41pm
  • three things: 1). 859 is all over the place. i'm from richmond, which is south of lexington, and that's my area code too. when i lived in berea, which is south of richmond, that was my area code there as well. 2). "i think its meant to be funny bc thats the reaction....a correction of grammer as opposed to a reaction of this person saying its (or it's) my first time." I agree, and if people need this explained to them, they're too dumb to get it. 3) "859 = lexington.....= dumb fucks." <-- fuck you.

  • Of course a person from Cincinnati would correct someone from NKY.

Submitted by Anonymous on May 26, 09 at 4:24pm
  • 859 is Lexington and Northern KY

Submitted by Anonymous on May 17, 09 at 9:29pm
  • Actually 859 is Lexington

Submitted by Anonymous on May 17, 09 at 9:23pm
  • yeah, 859 is lexington/richmond/northern kentucky..

Submitted by Anonymous on May 27, 09 at 4:08pm
  • i don't get it either...

Submitted by Anonymous on May 15, 09 at 3:47pm
  • no... hilarious, 513-cincinnati, 859-northern ky, meet at river bars... then this happens... soooo funny

Submitted by Anonymous on May 15, 09 at 5:32pm
  • I think the reason it is supposed to be funny is because the first text makes it seem like that person has seen their "first time," and the second person is correcting them saying that they are actually a virgin. It's not extremely funny, but it does make you think about how important an apostrophe is....

Submitted by Anonymous on May 15, 09 at 4:30pm
  • cincinnati plus northern kentucky. fuck yeah.

Submitted by Anonymous on Jun 13, 09 at 8:16am
  • Anonymous said... 859 = lexington.....= dumb fucks May 15, 2009 5:15PM ha!!! hwoever posted this is actually the dumbass. 859 is northern kentucky areas. newport covington etc. def not LEXINGTON. the equation is SUPPOSED to look like this "859=northern kentucky=dumbass." and/or "513=cincinnati=criminal rapist.

Submitted by Anonymous on May 16, 09 at 8:45pm
  • Wanna bet it's going to be a long time before 513's first time?

Submitted by Anonymous on May 15, 09 at 6:06pm
  • so many anonymous dumb-fucks.

Submitted by Anonymous on May 15, 09 at 5:18pm
  • i wouldnt bang the grammar bitch anyway

Submitted by Anonymous on May 15, 09 at 4:16pm
  • Correcting grammar is not funny, so I'm pretty sure it's about the quotes. That is, it's not really this person's first time.

Submitted by Anonymous on May 15, 09 at 10:12pm
  • they must have mistyped something???

Submitted by Anonymous on May 15, 09 at 4:05pm
  • i belive it's just a grammar correction: its to it's

Submitted by Anonymous on May 15, 09 at 3:48pm
  • 3:53 & 1:12 both dumb fucks

Submitted by Anonymous on Aug 19, 09 at 4:08pm
  • i think its meant to be funny bc thats the reaction....a correction of grammer as opposed to a reaction of this person saying its (or it's) my first time.

Submitted by Anonymous on May 17, 09 at 7:59pm
  • yes 859 is in many parts of ky so idk why youre fighting over it however the person is most likely from nky since theyre talking to someone in cincy

Submitted by Anonymous on May 27, 09 at 4:45pm
  • For both the possessive use and contraction of it is and it's you would use an apostrophe.

Submitted by KDRay on Jan 13, 11 at 6:56pm
  • i think it means that the first texter is pretending its her first time, so the responder is quoting it sarcastically

Submitted by Anonymous on Jul 26, 09 at 2:40pm
  • "It's" is possesive. "Its" is abbreviated "it is". It is supposed to be ironic... which it is not.

Submitted by Anonymous on May 18, 09 at 1:12pm
  • they aren't correcting grammar... they are putting it in quotes, saying it's a lie! like the first person is lying about it being their first time.

Submitted by Anonymous on May 19, 09 at 3:28pm
  • if you don't know the difference then you're dumb also do not correct someone's grammar when they are offering sex!!

Submitted by Anonymous on Sep 14, 09 at 10:14pm
  • I think it's the quotes... it's not actually the first time

Submitted by Anonymous on May 15, 09 at 3:48pm
  • Fuck grammar

Submitted by goefurself on Jul 31, 10 at 2:48am
  • it is just a superior cincinnatian rejecting a redneck kentuckian, that is all. except for the fact that a majority of northern kentucky residents are about as far from being a redneck as you can get. The mason-dixon line should actually be about 100 miles south of where it is. hence why northern kentucky is included in the greater cincinnati area.

Submitted by Anonymous on May 21, 09 at 4:28pm
  • "It's" is actually the possessive, there is no apostrophe in the contraction "it is". The first text had it right. :)
