Relax. Give it two years. The law will be re-written, more effectively supported and it will pass. Most young voters don't vote in midterms anyway. 2 years from now; less baby boomers, more young voters.\nTalk about personal freedom from government interference, that will get conservatives on the Prop-19 side
Blame the 44.2% voter turnout statewide! But it was really close. I agree with Griffmaster give it two years. Everyone will turn out to vote for Obama so it will pass.
While federal law does trump state law the only thing the government can do is withhold highway funds, which is actually why most states wouldn't consider trying to legalize it.
hey it would have been more harm than good. plus we can still get medical cards which will be cheaper than what everyone needs to show they can smoke. and Dispensaries give good weed with that prop there is no recommended strength so it will end up being like tobbacco in the days of plantations to cigrettes now loaded with crap that kills people. We should outlaw smoking cigrettes b/c that does wayyyyy more harm than good. so wherever u are piss off. and u would have needed to b a resident after 3 years so
i did. its really not all that bad of pitch for the third marijuana prop in the last fifteen or so years. they are treating it like cigarettes and alcohol.
