    Just because manup makes his argument poorly doesent make him wrong. Have you ever stopped to realize how dramatically cultural taboos change over time, and how incredibly closed minded it is to condone some drugs, such as alcholol, while disparaging others, such as marijuana, cocaine, and morphine, simply because you don't like them, you've never tried them, or they're "illegal." You do know that heroin is less physically damaging than alchohol, right?

    Well okay yeah, every single chemical is technically poisonous because in excess, you overdose and it causes adverse effects.       Yeah, lots of poisonous plants grow in nature too. Growing in the ground alone is not a good enough reason to put something in your body. And really, by doing these drugs you are slowly poisoning yourself.

    Theyre not people, theyre inanimate objects. Thats exactly why you cant blame them for addiction and crime and all that. Its like how people say "guns dont kill people, people with guns kill people" same effing thing.     And also, drugs dont cause addiction, people abusing drugs causes addiction. People make the choice to take a drug, to continue taking a drug, and eventually become addicted. Blaming a substance with no mind of its own is just another way our society passes blame on to things or people that can't defend themselves.
