      • Just because Syracuse is the 315 area code doesn't mean anything, neither does the fact they went to SU. I lived in the ROC with a 315 cell area code for 10 years before I moved. So, not really a fail.

            • Okay, okay, ROCHESTER may be 585. Shortly east it is absolutely not. I'm talking only like twenty minutes or so closer to Syracuse. Guess I'm just more accustomed to saying Rochester because who the fuck would recognize my little town. Both my land line AND cell phone growing up were 315. Syracuse University is irrelevant to all of this.

        • Syracuse University is most definitely not "irrelevant to all of this". It says this text came from Syracuse University, which is in...Syracuse, and NOT Rochester. Therefore, referring to "ROC keeping it classy" doesn't make sense because the person is in Syracuse not Rochester. It's really not a big deal but it shouldn't be such a hard concept to grasp.

            • Disregard that last comment. Essentially, just because Syracuse University happens to be in Syracuse doesn't necessarily mean the owner of the phone is actually from Syracuse. That's the thing about colleges, you know. That's all, and I'm done.
