your not supposed to have sex for 24 hours before a pap so that you cervix is not irritated and they can do a proper check as to whether you have cervical cancer or other problems. just fyi

Actually, in the 20+ years I've been having Paps done, none of my numerous doctors, in multiple states and two countries, has ever told me that. They've said if I start my period unexpectedly I'll need to reschedule, but never mentioned sex. OTOH, it seems to me that if you have the vaguest idea of what a Pap IS, you should figure it out on your own. Why waste the time and money if you're just gonna have to do it over b/c of an irregular reading? OP (707) is a moron.
