vampires are awesome as long as their name isnt edward... but wizards are always amazing too. you can so like vampires AND wizards just not twilight and harry potter.
harry potter obviously winds anyway because harry is a sex god with a british accent and the books are way better, and they actually sound inteligent, unlike the crap in twilight that is poorly written and has no meaning whatsoever.
Harry Potter all the way! The Twilight books are just classic novels with crap added to them! Seriously, the first one is Pride and Prejudice with Sparkly vampires and a young Stephenie Meyer; the second is Romeo and Juliet (obviously); the third is clearly based on Wuthering Heights; and the fourth is just random fanfiction with crappy writing and a small vocabulary.
I think that most of our generation grew up on Harry Potter, so of course it wins!

Harry potter is clearly the best books out of the two. Twilight never pulled me into the story. The books are written as if love struck high schoolers wrote them. Harry Potter is well researched and written with a vocabulary higher than a ninth grader. HP all the way!!

read a chapter of twilight last night and a chapter of harry potter and the philosephers stone. twilight was just grim. harry potter made me laugh.
Twilight from the beginning was a marketing ploy from the beginning. They knew a bunch of dimwitted teenagers would like that shit. You know where Harry Potter was written? J.K. Rowlings wrote it in a bar because she couldn't afford to pay her heating bill, there's real literature and character development behind it, no weak explanations for things such as sparkling vampires. The cast for Twilight was probably chosen before the actual "book" /script was written. Twilight sucks.
Harry potter by far- I was never so happy Cedric died so fast, Robert Is a horrible actor and the twilight books aren't too horrible, it's the movies and the bad actors they chose
8:30 agreed. I actually love harry potter but that tends to be the groups that are interested in each respective series. considering those two groups tend to not like each other, it supports the whole "mutually exclusive" theory.

Also Twilight & Harry Potter are both awesome. People need to stop hating on Twilight just because it's popular. Personally, I'm a fan of both. It's just easier to be "obsessed" with Twilight since it's an American thing, and we feel closer to it, whereas Harry Potter and the Harry Potter movies are across the pond, so we're more disconnected from it.
