  • the whole reason they stopped was because they ran out of beer, so I'm going to guess when they got the next batch brewed...thirsty thursdays came before thanksgiving.

  • I saw on the History channel, that every passenger aboard the Mayflower was rationed one gallon of beer a day. To answer the question, they probably started drinking in the late morning.

  • Actually, the pilgrims drank only alcohol. Water was disgusting to them because a) they never drank it and b)they had a habit of defecating in their water sources.
