  • Indeed very vague but "State Fair" is a 30's black and white film. There was also a 40's, 60's, and 90's remake... It took place during prohibition where the boy is a real goody two shoes. Drinking is Taboo and Sex before marriage is very much so as well. But he meets a girl w/o these values and stuff gets somewhat awkward. If that isn't what she is referring to then maybe no one will know.
