Yeah Alabama is so stupid, what with NASA, the 2nd largest research park in America, a city (Huntsville) with more college graduates per capita than any other city. A bunch of rednecks indeed.
The suburbs of the city of Birmingham would like to secede from the group "Typical Alabama Citizens" we have worked hard to set ourselves apart from the aforementioned classification, and dislike being lumped in with all the rednecks. Thank you.
